We believe inner work is a responsibility, to ourselves, to others, and to the small part of the universe entrusted to our care.
Join our community of friends and stay connected with upcoming iNNer gatherings, reflections and news from our journey.
A world where we devote as much care to cultivating our inner world as we do to shaping the world around us, and where we cultivate joy in order to share it with others.
To create spaces where people can turn inward through philosophy, meditation, silence, nature and meaningful human connection, and return to the world with greater awareness, presence and purpose.
A more fulfilling life, cultivated from within.
For more than two thousand years, philosophers and wisdom traditions have asked the same fundamental question: What does it mean to live well? Aristotle called it eudaimonia: a life of human flourishing, shaped by who we become and how we live.
External circumstances matter, of course, but their effect on well-being fades faster than we expect — the famous hedonic adaptation. What endures is how we pay attention, how we relate to our thoughts and emotions, and the bonds we form with ourselves and others.
At iNNer, we believe inner work is the best route into good relationships and a sense of purpose. Greater self-awareness can transform the way we relate to others. Compassion for ourselves can deepen our empathy for those around us. Stillness can help us hear what we truly value, turning busyness into purposeful action.
That is why we see inner work as a preparation for serving others, not an end in itself.
Our promise: inner work will not take us away from the world. It will change the way we meet it.
Turn inward. Return to the world more fully.
A series of themed encounters dedicated to exploring one of the territories we often know least: our iNNer world.
We live in a culture that prepares us remarkably well to deal with the outside world. We learn to analyze data, understand markets, manage organizations, solve complex problems, and make decisions under pressure. And yet, very few of us learn to understand and train the mind through which we experience all of this.
A growing body of research suggests that practices such as meditation and mindfulness support attention, emotional regulation, resilience, and our capacity to respond to stress. The benefits go well beyond the mind: research associates meditation with changes in the brain networks involved in attention and emotional regulation, with a reduction in physiological markers of stress, such as cortisol, and with better regulation of the autonomic nervous system, among many other positive effects.
What contemplative traditions have explored for thousands of years through direct experience is now being examined by psychology and neuroscience through the lens of modern science.
The iNNer Path is the place where these two worlds meet, offering us new tools and perspectives to bring into our work and our lives.
Together, we will explore attention, the mind, meditation, self-awareness, emotions, the body, self-compassion, stillness, and the relationship between our inner life and the way we live, work, lead, and relate to others.
Each gathering will bring together ancient wisdom, contemporary neuroscience, conversation, and a short experiential practice. No previous experience is required. Just curiosity and big smiles.
A space to discover our next gatherings, experiences and journeys.

Teacher of Prana Vashya Yoga, Pranayama, Alchemical Breathing and Meditation
Barbara says that, for her, teaching is a vocation, one that allows her to pass on the knowledge she has experienced first-hand as a concrete help towards a more vital, happier and fuller life.
In 2011, in Mysore, India, she met the Master Vinay Kumar, with whom she found a significant change in her practice and began her training, receiving in 2014 the certification to teach the Prana Vashya Yoga method. She returns to India every year to deepen her experience of yoga.
In 2020 she was certified in Sajeeva Hurtado’s method “Ovarian Breathing – Feminine Alchemy and Alchemical Breathing – Sacred Sexuality”, deepening her experience of the healing power of the Breath.
In 2023, in Mysore, she received from Vinay Kumar her certification as a Pranayama teacher.
She has practised Tai Chi Chuan and Chi Kung since childhood, in Venezuela, with Master Su You Chang. She later deepened her practice of Tai Chi and alchemical meditation, in Italy, with Master Fabio Patruno. She graduated in nutritional philosophy and anatomy with Michelangelo Chiecchi at the Scuola Libera di Vita Naturale. She then began practising yoga – Ashtanga Vinyasa – with the Masters Luca Compare and Elena De Martin. She has attended several training courses, including one with David Swenson. To improve her knowledge of human anatomy and movement, she followed Pilates training up to the advanced level, earning the “Stott Pilates Matwork Plus and Advanced” certification with Claudia Fink. She continued her research with another teacher training course in Thailand, at the school of Paul Dallaghan, with the Masters Ron Reid and Marla Meenakshi Joi.
As early as 1998 she encountered meditation and, recognising the path towards “home”, she has attended many retreats with different meditation techniques. Her deep gratitude for these teachings motivates her to share introductory and practice meditation sessions with friends and students.

Psychotherapist and author
Enrico Gamba is a psychotherapist and author. He integrates psychotherapy, the neuroscience of trauma and mindfulness practices. He developed RISO Therapy (Relation Integrated Self Oriented Therapy) and is the founder of Soul Clinic, a psychotherapy and training centre where he selects and supervises his own clinical team.
He is the author of Se sei qui non è per caso. Viaggio dalla mente all'anima (Bompiani), already translated into Spanish, and he guides individuals and groups through paths of healing and transformation. Through seminars, videos and online content, he brings complex themes such as trauma, relationships and self-knowledge to a wide audience.
His research begins with a question: what changes, in the brain and in life, when we truly begin to listen to who we are?
His work invites us to see the human being not as a problem to be fixed, but as a consciousness capable of turning pain into direction, crisis into awakening, and awareness into a concrete form of freedom.

Dear Friends of iNNer,
When I was young, I was an enthusiastic, romantic dreamer who wanted to live in the most cosmopolitan city in the world: London.
I never dreamt of making money or climbing any career ladder. I ended up working in finance by chance, rather than choice. Bank of America’s equity derivatives team was looking for an engineer who was good with numbers; I was looking for a job that would allow me to support myself and meet people from all over the world.
Finance turned out to be fascinating and intellectually stimulating. But also emotionally harsh. After a while, the identity that had once given me comfort started to feel like a costume. I began to feel that my spontaneity, my inner joy, my crazy, authentic soul were slowly withering, like a rose deprived of water or sunlight.
The present moment is the only place where life’s beauty manifests, but I was rarely there. My mind was always one step ahead, worrying about tomorrow.
Until my mother put Epictetus into my hands. Until I decided to stop long enough to listen to my inner voice. Until I discovered the healing power of philosophy, meditation and silence.
And then I realised: we spend decades studying, learning and preparing ourselves to navigate and succeed in the outer world. Yet we dedicate very little time to nurturing the very place through which we experience all of it: our inner world.
I found my inner freedom again, and everything changed. Not because my outer circumstances did, but because I did. The world was the same, but the eyes through which I saw it were clearer and brighter.
My life has been so profoundly enriched by this journey that I could not keep it to myself. In Seneca’s words (Letter 6 to Lucilius): “No good thing is pleasant to possess, without friends to share it.” That is when I decided to write Philosophy and Finance: A Love Story.
The book was born from the conviction that worlds that rarely speak to one another have much to offer each other. Philosophy and finance. Entrepreneurship and ancient wisdom. Values and value. Outer achievement and inner fulfilment. Doing and being.
iNNer is the next step in this journey of sharing. And, like the book, it is born from the desire to build bridges.
The world has too many walls. We need way more bridges.
I hope iNNer can become one of them. And I hope we can build it together.
With love,
Paule
